We have adopted two texts for this class. They are:
Janis, Mark W. An Introduction to International Law, 3d ed. New York: Aspen Law & Business, 1999.
Merrills, J.G. International Dispute Settlement, 3d ed. Cambridge, United Kingdom: Cambridge University Press, 1998.
In addition to readings from the texts, we will also read extensively from other sources. These will be posted on this website (to save trees and also to save you money). The readings on the website are just as important as those in the texts. The readings for a particular class may change during the semester, to allow for current developments in this rapidly-changing field. The required readings will not, however, change during the week before the class.
Materials on the website require a username and password, which may be obtained from the instructors.
